The patties were incredible! The beef and ox tail patties were easily the best I've ever had; so much flavor in every bite, and the pastry shell was equally as delicious! The beef and cheese patty was alright. I had a side of jerk chicken as well which was super tender and the chicken was high quality but the jerk flavor was different than what I am used to and not as nice a flavor as I hoped, but great value the the 6$ price still. The included jerk BBQ sauce was nice. There is no seating inside or outside; so we ate on the hood of our car!

Run2Patty delivers a solid Jamaican dining experience! The beef patties are decent. My partner ordered the curry goat, which stood out as a flavorful and well-prepared dish. The jerk chicken is decent but doesn’t quite reach the level of the best in the area. Given the price point, the quality of the food feels a bit lacking in comparison.

This place is amazing. We always get the jamaican patties. The platters are delicious too, recently tried the fried chicken one and it is mouthwatering. Rice, cornbread, macaroni salad all excellent. Oxtail is my favourite but they’re so popular they get sold out depending when you go!

Incredible jerk chicken—perfectly spiced and tender. The mac n cheese was creamy and comforting, and the pineapple ginger drink was the perfect refreshing kick. Big portions, great flavour. Highly recommend!

My husband and I ordered from Run 2 Patty for our rehearsal dinner. Everyone loved the food and the delivery was seamless. The bbq chicken was my personal favourite, it was so well seasoned. The portion sizes were very generous. We served 18 people and still had tons of leftovers. Would definitely recommend trying their food and using their catering services.

We've been ordering from this place since they opened during the COVID era. The food is always delicious and the service is friendly. My favourite dish so far is the oxtail and if course the patties are to die for! Looking for a good West Indian meal? This is the place to come!

This place was one of the highest rated Jamaican/Caribbean restaurants in Ottawa so I had to check it out. Located in a residential area, it’s a small, funky modern takeout counter with platters, sandwiches and patties. I chose the jerk chicken and it came with rice and peas and macaroni salad; I wish it would be a little more balanced with some vegetables, but really not complaining as the rice and peas and macaroni salad are delicious accompaniments! Prices are very reasonable. Everything is cooked and seasoned to perfection. Sometimes some of their mains are not available (I actually wanted to get the oxtail, but they didn’t have any), so call ahead if you really want a particular something, however the alternatives are just as tasty. When a menu is curated, the food tends to be much better, fresher, and tastier and Run2Patty is no exception. They are also halal حلال and the staff was kind when a young girl came in buying patties and was short on cash. There are a few parking spaces in front in their lot and street parking is free (check signage). And if I remember correctly there might not be space for dining in.

FOOD: This is hands down my spot to get some good Carribean food. I started off with the patties, my favourite is definitely the ox tail. Then I graduated to platters; the fried chicken is way up there with some of the best fried chicken in Ottawa, and thats coming from a Korean guy that loves his Korean fried chicken. The Jerk chicken, on point, spicy, juicy, well flavoured. Now the oxtail.....I love oxtail and this is probably the best in Ottawa, there was another place called Chicken Cribb, but since they closed this is number one. SERVICE: Girl at the front is always smiling having a good time. They are friendly and its great to support a business that is family owned, passionate about food, and giving consistent service. ATMOSPHERE: Hole in the wall goodness
